Embrace the blank page

A free audio lesson

This short audio lesson is an invitation to begin gently.

It’s something I return to whenever I want to write but don’t quite know where to start — a way of opening up ideas without pressure, and of approaching the blank page with curiosity rather than expectation.

You’re very welcome to listen wherever you are: on a walk, at your desk, or away from it entirely. There’s no right way to use it, and no requirement to write anything down unless you feel like it.

Some people listen and come away with a handful of new ideas. Others simply enjoy the sense of being accompanied back towards their writing. Both are enough.

A note from me

I’m Huma.

I’ve spent many years writing books and teaching writing, and what I’ve learned is that so much of the work happens before we ever sit down at a desk. This lesson was created in that spirit: spacious, unforced, and designed to fit alongside a full life.

You’re welcome here however you come — as a reader, a writer, or something in between. There’s no expectation either way!
