A Lovely Literary Evening takes place on the last Wednesday of every month at Muswell Hill Books & Parlour in north London. These tickets are for the September gathering.

Come together to listen to a carefully chosen short story read aloud, then stay for conversation inspired by the piece: what it reminded us of, moved in us, or made us think about differently.
Hosted by Huma Qureshi, author of Things We Do Not Tell the People We Love and Playing Games, this intimate and welcoming evening celebrates the pleasure of reading slowly, listening closely, and sharing responses in good company. No preparation or literary expertise is required.
Your ticket includes venue hire, non-alcoholic drinks and snacks for the evening.
As spaces are very limited, tickets are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled, in which case a full refund will be issued.
