Wednesday 24th June, 6.30pm-8pm
Muswell Hill Books & Parlour
190 Fortis Green Road, London, N10 3DU
Come together to listen to a short story read aloud, then stay for conversation inspired by the piece; what it reminded us of, moved in us, or made us think about differently.
Hosted by Huma Qureshi, author of Things We Do Not Tell The People We Love and Playing Games, this intimate and inviting evening will celebrate the pleasure of reading slowly, listening closely, and sharing responses in good company in a relaxed, welcoming setting. No preparation or literary expertise required.
Ticket price covers venue hire and (non-alcoholic) drinks and snacks for the evening. As spaces are very limited, tickets are non-refundable, unless the event is cancelled, in which case a full refund will be issued.
